José Luis Jaén is authenticity in person. Among his many musical influences are flamenco and the copla, from which he has drunk since childhood and to which he has passionately added jazz, Cuban son, bolero and tango. They are all part of their life experiences.

Jaén, is the ratification that the work in conjunction with the talent in the end pay off. Success has come to him at the age of 46, but he does not see it with nostalgia. On the contrary. “If success had come to me when I was 20, I wouldn't have known how to taste it the same, now I'm at a moment in my life that I know how to value and enjoy it,” confesses the Almeria singer.

With his voice, the instrument that he dominates the best, after the expectation generated in the television programs 'Tierra de Talento’ and 'Cover Night' he has launched to live this passion that undoubtedly transmits to his followers in a clear way on the stages.

Since his entry into the world of music, his dedication has led him to tour stages working in orchestras and recently creating his own show.

A life dedicated to music for years, although currently his career has taken a big leap by participating in two television talent shows. "Tierra de Talento" on Canal Sur in the 5th and 6th editions and "Cover Night", on TVE, becoming a finalist in each of the editions. In them he has captivated a jury made up of such important figures in music as José Mercé, Mónica Naranjo and Miguel Bosé.

José Luis Jaén has fallen in love not only with the television audience, but also beyond our borders. He has been called to collaborate with artists such as Carlos Cuevas, in Mexico, Chabuco (Colombia), Zenet, Álex Conde and los indultados, Lya or María Peláe, with whom he has recorded “bandoneón” in his most recent recording work. He has shared the stage with great jazz figures such as Dorantes, Pepe Rivero or Luis Guerra and with great flamenco artists such as Estrella Morente, Israel Fernández, Tomatito, Gabriel Pérez, Arcángel, Juan Carmona, Anabel Veloso or Joaquín Grilo.

With a heartbreaking voice that reaches the soul leaving a mark forever, he is managing to hang the “sold out” poster today in almost all his presentations in theaters and halls all over Spain as recognized as Pathé Theater in Seville, Echegaray Theater in Malaga or Recoletos Jazz Hall in Madrid with all the truth that it represents to do a solo piano and voice show accompanied by the great pianist Ale Romero.
