Peter Gabriel - Blood of Eden (Tears Mix 2) (2024) [Hi-Res]

Blood of Eden (Tears Mix 2) is an alternate take on the mix released for the November full moon. This track was recorded at Real World Studios on 10 December, 1991.

During the archive research for this song a number of mixes have come to light and we thought it would be interesting to explore some of them, a DNA approach, if you will.

As such, all the music this month will be Blood of Eden related...

Already in the subscription from the November full moon you can hear the Tears Mix (Dec 1991), from the same tape as this Tears Mix 2. Delving back you can also hear the Kiss the Bliss mix (Aug full moon) recorded in May 1991.

We have two more, earlier, mixes to follow, one also released today (the Campfire version) and one further version before the end of this lunar month, that takes us right back to the early workings.
