XTAL - EKO (2024) Hi-Res

XTAL, who is a resident DJ with k404 as Traks Boys at the industrial rave party "DK SOUND", and has been actively releasing music as a member of the band (((Sarrawund))) with Jun Kamoda, a unit with guitarist Yoshizawa Shigetomo of Your Song Is Good, and a unit with dance music producer KEITA SANO, will release his third solo album "EKO" through Kakubarizm in December 2024. While retaining the glitchy electronic sounds and experimental sounds and textures of drones that continue from his previous album "Abureru", the main feature of this work is the increase in melodic tracks and vocal tracks using voice samples and guest vocals (Achico, Tatami Ayaka), giving the impression of a tranquility that runs throughout the entire album. The final two tracks that conclude the album, a cover of XTAL's beloved SAKANA's "Rocking Chair" featuring Yuichi Shiota on guitar and Achico on vocals, and "QSFQLP3" featuring vocals by Tatami Ayaka (Homecomings), are outstanding pieces.
