“Flood”, originally release on Vinyl Japan in 1994, is the third installment of a full schedule of Chesterfields releases running into 2025. After too many years with a very limited number of the band’s songs available online, Légère Recordings will be releasing the entire back catalogue on your usual dsps (Spotify, applemusic, Amazon, Deezer, Tidal etc.). “Crocodile Tears”, recorded for Household and released in 1988 and the compilation album “Fool Is A Man” featuring a further nine songs recorded for the label, including the iconic “Last Train To Yeovil”, already kicked off the busy schedule. The iconic “Kettle” album plus the “Westward Ho!” compilation album featuring eight songs recorded for various Subway singles and compilation albums, including “Sweet Revenge” and “Girl On A Boat” are in the pipeline as well. Finally, a compilation album “The Wishing Pool” featuring eight more songs recorded for Vinyl Japan, including “The Berlin Walk” and the unreleased “Lucky S*n”, the last song Davey recorded with The Chesterfields, will complete the catalogue.
