Carmen's return to the studio happened because her singing caught the attention of Len Frank who was about to set up his own small label, Stardust (6). He arranged for her to do several sessions in September 1953, which resulted in at least six songs issued on 45's shortly after: Carmen McRae - Autumn Nocturne / In Love In Vain, Carmen McRae - A Foggy Day / Wanting You, and Carmen McRae - Go Slow / Charlie Is My Darlin'. Five were eventually re-released on 01-05. 06-10 are the songs of Ivie Anderson.
