Norman McLaren was a Scottish-Canadian animator of short films, such as ‘Dots’ and ‘Synchromy’ fame. He self-composed his soundtracks, and was a pioneer in as much as he may well have been the very first electronic musician. This new Rythmetic compilation is the first time his soundtracks have been collected for vinyl release, and date from as far back as the 1940s. Double LP out on Phantom Limb.
