The duo of Slovakian flautist Michaela Antalová and Norwegian double bassist Adrian Myhr have created an album inspired by the nightingale's song. It is a continuation of their meditative 2021 debut "Zvony," which featured harmonium and field recordings. The album includes traditional Slovakian and Norwegian instruments, as well as elements of world music. The compositions feature the Slovak fujara, Norwegian Hardanger fiddle, and Iranian santur, creating a unique hybrid of folk traditions. The album's 11 tracks combine the folk motifs of both countries, highlighting the symbolism of the nightingale and uniting different musical worlds.
