The album” Amaineman " was released by Josune Arakistain, setting the first milestone on the road to his solo project s Iagne. The musician from Ivy offered a sample of his new proposal prior to the album's release, including the preview songs “four knots”, “Sunda UTA” and “Chicharro”. Since then, the 11-song album has been released to all platforms.

In his debut album as a solo artist, Josune Arakistain talks about the closure of old stages and the questions of new possibilities, offering a musical explanation of the transition from the successful band Ivy to the project Signe. And the soundtrack of this transition is dressed with trickery and electronics. These two worlds seem incompatible in appearance, but arakistain feels "natural", as he explained yesterday at the A Tzuarium in San Sebastian. TRAVELERS AND A SPOILER

Between the Basque Country and Madrid the musician Itziar has created “Amaineman", with producer Jimbo Paez. With the melody of a song in his head and four tricks in the trunk of his car, Josune Arakistain has made several trips to Madrid over the past two years.

He said he enjoyed the trip, and his companions enjoyed it more. Many guest artists have contributed to the album: members of Toledo Group Tzeintiuno have sung in Basque and included the flame of Ro tzka in the song “that's yes”, with Galician Anthia Muinoi and Italian Greta TZH'aska who has already given “thousands of flowers” to the public, and producer Rikki helped refine “Sunda Tzeintiuno”. The most unusual collaboration, however, comes from the song that opens the album: he created “Cantabri”with his friends from Ivy. "That reflects where I came from and where I'm going," he mentioned.

Although “Amaineman” is a 11-song album, whoever buys the album will find a surprise in it. Believing that the few who buy the album today are doing it to "help the artist", Josune Arakistain wanted to thank them and created the twelfth song, which will only be heard on the album.
