January 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of Martti Pokela's birth. To mark the occasion, three generations of his descendants have come together to record a new Pokela album by the trio Tuulentei, to be released in November 2024. The album includes arrangements by Soila, Juri and Petteri Sariola of Pokela's music, as well as several new compositions from the trio itself. Thanks to modern technology, the siblings can play along with Martti Pokela using his original musical compositions. The Tuulentei band members are renowned artists known for their work in various bands. The concert, which will last about an hour, will take place at Helsinki Repair Shop. Pokela's descendants admire his music and use its inspiration to create their own compositions.
