This album, created by a team of two producer brothers, will put you in a sunny mood and energy. They started their career in the Brazilian drum'n'bass scene in the late 90's together with DJ Marky. Each track on this album addresses a specific period of Brazilian dance music, their enthusiasm is infectious. One of the tracks, titled “Groove Solto”, is based on the music of Racional Tim Maya, which is a favorite among crate-diggers. In “Vamos Dançar,” singer Wilson Simoninha clearly praises a song by his father, Wilson Simonal, a baile classic. The track “Africa Brasil” epitomizes Jorge Ben's swinging samba with the addition of highlife guitars. “Liberdade” brings an 80's disco boogie atmosphere, and ‘Sorte’ is a psychedelic samba rock track. Although there are no original ideas here, this music that is made for the English is wrapped in such energy and appeal that it becomes simply impossible to resist.
