OLYA SONICA ~ is her own brand of rock’n’roll. A revival of the soul of rock with a unique and fresh perspective. Her songs are instant classics. She’s a classically trained pianist and self-taught guitarist. With a one-of-a-kind voice, Olya weaves unique harmonies into powerful female-fronted rock anthems. Olya moved thousands of miles from her home in Moscow to New York City with a backpack and a dream. A stranger to American language and culture, Olya found herself aligning her path to that of a rock'n'roll star. She immersed herself in the music culture of the city and taught herself English to be able to write her songs in the language of her musical heroes and continue the legacy she resonated with so deeply. Quickly becoming a part of the local music scene in New York, she started touring with different projects stateside and internationally. Relocating to Los Angeles opened the doors for her solo career.
