The catalogue released during the disco boom of the 1970s from the Warner Bros. Japanese music catalogue is now available for the first time. It includes masterpieces, obscure records and rare records that are now talked about in the context of City Pop, such as "Black Rebel," a domestic disco where famous Japanese studio musicians participated under pseudonyms, and "Sexy Rhythm Sections," a disco project by Masaaki Hirao, a major Showa pop composer who released many hit songs.
