Reggae/soul/dub collective from France.
The band Dynamics, formed in Lyon on the slopes of Croix-Rousse hill, brought together musicians and producers from different backgrounds around a shared love for different musical genres such as soul, funk, rhythm and blues, disco, dub and reggae. They began performing as a vocal trio at private parties, supporting themselves with a simple sound system. The group's first single, containing their versions of Curtis Mayfield and White Stripes songs, became popular and brought them international recognition. Other singles followed, establishing the band's style and sound. In 2007, Dynamics released their first album “Version Excursions” on the Groove Attack label, contributing to their international reputation. The band members are Mr. Day, Mounam, Stevie Levi and Mr. Flab Masta, who play guitar, sing and work with dub style effects.
