Isaac was born and raised in south London, where he started playing drums and gradually learned piano and bass guitar. As early as 16 he began teaching drumming and by the age of 19 he was a session musician, recording on jazz and rock records for various artists including Duffy. At the same time, Isaac was working as a marketing manager, but nights were spent chanting and session playing with artists such as Cynthia Erivo, Gabriel and Blue. He then began writing his own songs and performed at high profile festivals including Glastonbury, where he opened for Another Stage. Isaac soon signed to Rocket Music, Elton John's label, and began collaborating with other famous artists. He became known for his signature style of soul and multi-instrumental music, performing internationally and being recognized for his work, including winning the International Songwriters Competition 2020 award.
