Montreal band Yoo Doo Right released their debut album, A Murmur, Boundless to the East, in 2021. The band takes its name from the song Can their sound differs from Can's music with a darker and more mysterious mood. The album consists of five tracks that are lengthy and engaging. The first song “Say Less, Do More” starts off with loud beats and atmospheric music and then unpredictably transitions into harsh vocals. “SMB” is an instrumental track that gradually builds into a heavy musical crescendo. “The Failure of Stiff, Tired Friends” creates the feeling of traveling through the desert with the use of synthesizers and guitar melodies. The album's main piece, “Feet Together, Face Up, On the Front Lawn” is 16 minutes long and evokes a sense of euphoria using a variety of rhythms and guitar sounds. Yoo Doo Right show their creativity and ability to create intriguing music.
