Australian-based techno artist Eddie Hale delivers his second album Vanishing Point on his label Denude. The expansive new body of work draws inspiration from a silent meditation retreat he undertook in 2023. From the axis of a quietened mind, the unfolding of nine meticulously crafted pieces of music could be considered ephemeral meditations in their own right. Observations of phenomena rising and falling within, through regular focused time spent in the studio sculpting interstellar transmissions and grounding them in the physical realm. Standout track Affinity with its incessant raw beats and timeless melodic beauty sits juxtaposed against electronica-facing excursions such as Black Rock.
