Rich Homie Quan's posthumous album "Forever Goin In" is out. 35 songs on the day the rapper would have turned 35. Rich Homie Quan's posthumous album "Forever Goin In" was released on the rapper's birthday. He would have turned 35 on October 4 — and the tracklist includes exactly that many songs from the Atlanta trap star.

Quan was one of those who shaped the sound of the Atlanta trap scene. The peak of his career came in the mid-1910s, when he released the classic mixtape "Rich Gang. Tha Tour Part 1" with Young Thug and Birdman, and also participated in big hits from YG and Travis Scott.

The new album features material that the rapper was working on right up until his last days. The title is a reference to a series of mixtapes that he called like "I Go In On Every Song" and "Still Goin' In".

The release featured 2 Chainz, Plies, Lil Tjay, Skilla Baby and others.

Rich Homie Quan’s Forever Goin In should never have been released. Rather, the 2024 album that was compiled shortly after his death should exist in an entirely different context than the tragic one in which it currently resides. Throughout the project, his inherent knack for melody, defiant resistance to giving up, and positive outlook on life make his valuable perspective forever missed. Take the project’s opener, “Intro,” on which the Atlanta mainstay speaks over mournful piano notes and a choir-like vocal sample. Quan recites: “I ain’t lettin’ nobody stop me, though. Feel me? I let nobody deteriorate my mind. I knew I was great before they knew I was.” Those words hit particularly hard after Rich Homie Quan has left this Earth, but his message remains as clear as always: Never stop going in.
