Jimmy Durante was an institution. He was as much of a part of showbusiness as any one performer, any one song, any one tradition. Year in and year out, one of the highlights of any entertainment season was Durante at the Copacabana. This album is a reissue of his classic 1961 album - a live on-the-spot recording with Durante at the Copa, recorded just as it happened - with all the songs, ad-libs, asides, jokes and confusion that only Jimmy could generate on the night-club floor.
