Photo taken during the filming of the documentary La Danse de l'Enchanteresse (Adoor Gopalakrishnan & Brigitte Chataignier, La Vieest Belle, Films du Paradoxe, 2007). Collection founded by Françoise Gründ and directed by Pierre Bois Recordings made in 1993 and 2005 in the Chethana and Pryagîtam studios (Trichur, Kerala) under the artistic direction of Brigitte Chataignier. Translation of the poems (Malayâlam, Manipravâlam, Sanskrit), Dominique Vitalyos. English translation by Frank Kane.
