Multi-faceted composer Fabio Fabor (born Fabio Borgazzi) is perhaps best known for his outstanding output of soundtracks and library music. Between the late 70s and 80s, however, he devoted much of his creative energy to experimental electronic music. This compilation album brings together ten of his pieces from that period that feature analog synthesizers, sequencers and drum machines -- instruments Fabor employed to create immersive and evocative musical soundscapes that still feel fresh, vibrant and contemporary today. In 1976 some of these tracks were used in "Anche questa è musica" (This too is music), a RAI TV programme hosted by Fabor himself that, as its title clearly suggests, aimed to familiarize the general public with the experimental electronic music of the time.
