Recorded in an improvised session conducted by Marshall Allen, leader of Sun Ra Arkestra. The elder, who also plays alto sax and synthesizer, brings along three other members of what is the longest running big band in activity today: Knoell Scott, the Brazilian Elson Nascimento, and the now late Danny Ray Thompson.
