Lesiman - The Future Sound of Lesiman (1998)

Beautiful set of moody tracks by this enigmatic Italian composer. Although billed as a compilation of "sound library" stuff, this LP's got a lot more of a mellow moody feel than some of the other sound library LPs we've been stocking, which are usually a lot funkier. This one's got beautiful haunting piano, organ, and harpsichord lines – with that pulsating sexy Euro soundtrack feel that characterizes some of the best of the Easy Tempo series, like Camille 2000 or La Morte Accarezza. The tracks slip and slide into one another, with spare moody sounds that would be excellent for sampling, but which also make a great soundtrack to a lazy day at the Dusty Groove office (hey, even when we're lazy, we're funky!)
