Singer Josee Koning and singer/actor Jim de Groot both present Nijgh's work in their own unique way in this performance. Jim chooses the brighter side, in which the provocative work comes into its own. Josee feels better about portraying Nijgh's vulnerable side. Both had a special bond with the lyricist and share their memories with the audience. Each performance they also receive a special guest who was close to Nijgh or found inspiration in him.
