Ryan El-Solh (guitar), Carmen Rothwell (bass) and Jason Burger (drums), began performing together as Scree in 2017. Since then the trio have forged a sound all their own, driven by the wide, mystical arcs of guitarist El-Solh’s compositions, which draw on an eclectic range of influences from Ellington to Brahms to Lebanese composer Ziad Rahbani. Through their intimate and virtuosic live performances Scree have steadily built a dedicated following in their home base of Brooklyn, NY.
