This album is an excellent, vivid, and eclectic offering by this group. It's a great buy!
I was first introduced to this group like most of us are from their track "Gold," which was featured in the movie "Once" with Glen Hansard. Of course we all typed in "Interference" into our iTunes search bar and pressed "enter." And like all of you I was shocked, but pleased to find out that the group which is brought up as the response/ find for just putting in "Interference" is not the group from the song "Gold."
Interference Ireland is however the group that you recognize from the song "Gold," and thankfully enough that is also the first track which is featured on this album. I myself find that track to be something of a soundtrack to a dream. Much as you would dream of the person whom you have fallen madly in love with, with a highlight reel playing in your head as you slumber with them beside you. And as the various scenes skip effortlessly from smiling face, to kissing your treasured love, in my mind at least, you would hear "Gold" playing as vividly as it is on this CD in your dream. At least that's how I interpret it.
