Aguaturbia is the first official album by the Chilean psychedelic rock band Aguaturbia, created the previous year and active until 1974. It was originally released in 1970 and recorded in just 3 days. It contains two of his own songs and six versions by other artists. It was never reissued on CD, but in 2000 another version was released with a different repertoire of songs.
This album caused controversy in Chile due to its cover, in which the band members appeared naked and with long hair, colored glasses and headbands, inspired by the American hippie movement and especially by the cover of the album. album Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.2 On March 13, 1970, the newspaper La Segunda published a photo of the cover taking up the entire cover.
In April 2008, the Chilean edition of Rolling Stone magazine placed this album at number no. 41 among the 50 best Chilean albums of all time.
