MARBLE SHEEP A psychedelic band formed in Tokyo in 1986 by KEN MATSUTANI. Their powerful twin drums lead to heavy psychedelic/trip rock'n'roll world. Their powerful twin drums lead to heavy psychedelic/trip rock'n'roll world. ○△□(Maru Sankaku Shikaku) A multi-art group centered around Kant (ex. Murahachibu) and To-chan. They performed on the street in the pedestrianized zone, and in 1973 they produced a small number of albums on acetate just for their own private enjoyment. It was a mysterious piece of music centered around improvisation, featuring three-thirds of the members at the time, including Reck and Chicohige, who would later go on to form Friction, and it also incorporated an abundance of graphic work and photographs from the time. MARU SANKAKU SHIKAKU began their activities in the fall of 1970 by Sakuro “Kant” Watanabe and Kohji “Tohchan” Miura. They were the multi-art and performance group including Reck and Chiko Hige, who played in the band “3/3” (SANBUN-NO-SAN), and then formed FRICTION.

MARBLE SHEEP MEETS ○△□ Tokyo heavy psychedelic band Marble Sheep and the legendary free music group ○△□ (Maru, Triangle, Shikaku), led by Kant of Motomura Hachibu, first met and united in the winter of 2002! This is dizzying trip music, with no overdubbing whatsoever, all sounds and voices played in the moment! The first pressing is a 2-disc set with a bonus CD (studio outtakes) only. This album contains an improvisation session by 19 people, including ex-Murahachibu Kant, led by ◯△□, and Marble Sheep. The sound is a mix of German rock and the Grateful Dead, and it may be true relaxation music. The first release comes with a bonus CD with outtakes.
