Lauren trained extensively in acting, voice production, singing and all forms of dance at London's prestigious WEBBER DOUGLAS ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ART.
She began her professional career starring in a musical revue, which she co-wrote with three others. The show toured the provinces and played many high profile London venues including a sell out run at the famous NEW END THEATRE, Hampstead. This led to an abundance of work in musical theatre including a successful stint at the DUKE of YORK'S THEATRE and many other theatre shows in London's West End with Frankie Howard.
From there she began a whole series of gigs in selected up market UK venues. Work came in thick and fast and she was soon working as a sought after session singer providing distinctive back-up vocals for many well-known National and International artists including:

During those years Lauren's television credits included the BBC's "TOP OF THE POPS", Britain's best known and longest running music show, PEBBLE MILL and THE TUBE. Her live performances include shows at the West End's ADELPHI THEATRE, concert for “DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES” COVENT GARDEN and THE LAUGHING CACTUS CLUB at THE WATER RAT’S THEATRE. She performed live for both regional, national and international radio including many one hour jazz standards sessions for radio 2 and her own compositions for the BBC and GLR.
After the release of her debut solo album “Modern Woman” to wide acclaim and on recommended purchase from HMV’s Jazz counter in the UK, she signed a Pan-European record deal with major German label ZYX Records.
During 2006/7 Lauren was on tour in Northern Europe promoting her “MODERN WOMAN” released in Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux through ZYX Records.
Lauren’s band has included big name guests such as Randy Bachman (BTO) Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones) and other musical luminaries. She co/wrote Randy Bachman’s “IN BLUE” for his recent highly acclaimed and awarded album “JAZZTHING” – She appeared on a new Angelic Records all female compilation release alongside top selling female artists Katie Melua and Janis Ian.
Lauren is a very gifted and skilled song writer. Another song writing assignment was for the Hollywood movie “Three Priests” staring Olivia Hussey, Michael Parks and several other well known faces. Lauren was picked by the movie’s director Jim Cole specifically to write the title song of the same name. (Three Priests was released in 2008).
In 2007 Lauren was voted and honoured as “International Star of the Year” and “Woman of the Year in Music and Entertainment” by glossy American magazines “World Art Celebrities Journal” and “Modern Woman Today” USA. She also picked up the title in the USA “A Woman for all Seasons” (New York Post)
