Alexander Brott - Leon's Lullaby (2024) [Hi-Res]

I dedicate this album to my son, Leon. I wrote these songs during the first year of his life, a period which was incredibly intense but absolutely amazing. They all came to me fully formed at different times and when they did I was invariably busy with other duties so I would just quickly write them down and put them aside. Later I revisited them and realized that they all served as a kind of time capsule, somehow capturing different feelings, places and events that I had experienced during this beautiful, exhausting and ethereal chapter of our lives. For that reason alone, this album will always hold a special place in my heart.
