Mariko Senju is one of Japan's leading violinists. She is energetically active in a wide range of activities, from concerts in Japan and abroad to volunteer performances. 2022 marks the 60th year of Mariko Senju's life, the year of her 60th birthday! The album contains 7 pieces that Mariko Senju herself remembers fondly and that gave her opportunities at milestones in her life, including Beethoven's "Romance," in which she studied and played a single note day in and day out in search of the ideal single note, and Vitali's "Chaconne," which she fell in love with before her debut and wanted to continue playing for the rest of her life. The piano accompaniment is by Mariko Senju. Piano accompaniment is provided by Satoshi Yamahora, a pianist who has shared the stage with Mariko Senju throughout Japan. (C)RS
