Aztec Milk Temple are poised to be the new patron saints of the neo-grunge movement with the group’s first full-length album titled, “ON TELEVISION.”
Starting out from the infamous streets of Deep Ellum, and expanding to coastal cities such as New York City and San Fransisco, Aztec Milk Temple includes band members Scott Tucker, Braxton Fugate, Vincent Martin and Mathew Miller. In 2020 the band signed to Texas based independent label, Idol Record and released singles, “Digital Natives,” “Milk,” and “Hey Mister,” to critical praise in several Texas-based music publications.
“Digital Natives came out in June 2020, followed by Milk a few months later. Both songs are wildly ambitious with the latter featuring a whirlwind of buzzes and beeps before the song crashes to a start with Tucker ranting like a carnival barker on steroids while the rhythm section of Vincent Martin and Braxton Fugate bravely keep up with the chaos.”
-Darryl Smyers for Texas Music Magazine.
From their early shows and Texas tours, Aztec Milk Temple captivated audiences with their high-octane live performances. The band’s magnetic stage presence and undeniable talent led them to headline sold-out shows on several runs around the southern United States, sharing stages with national bands such as The Nixons and The Whigs.
“Time waits for no one, the rich, the old, the poor, the young… Life is a flash in time, you’ll get yours and I’ll have mine… For some the road is paved with gold, armed with youth, ambition, and Gods that ask for souls.”
