He hails from the ancient city of Ibadan. He wrote his first song at age six while playing the dining table in his Grandfather's house. Later growing up to draw inspiration from different genres of music, from Jazz, Soul, Gospel, Yoruba Folk, and Pop music, creating his own unique blend of sound which is his own contribution to the larger Nigerian music movement.
