Emi Meyer - Curious Creature (2008)

Bridging the gaps between Japanese and U.S. jazz, debut album Curious Creature propelled jazz vocalist/pianist Emi Meyer to the top of digital Japanese jazz charts with ease. Meyer has a slight lilt to her voice which, when paired with the smoky power of a modern female vocalist, is at once vulnerable, emotional, and forceful.
