Bloodrock 2 is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Bloodrock, released on October 19, 1970.
Bloodrock 2 is the most successful album in the band's discography. It peaked at number 21 on the Billboard chart and was certified gold on January 3, 1990. The album's success was also aided by the success of the single "D.O.A.", which peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100. This is Bloodrock's only single to chart.
Drummer Rick Cobb was brought in to record the album so that Jim Rutledge could focus entirely on vocals.
American heavy metal band Manilla Road recorded a cover version of “D.O.A.” for his album Court of Chaos, released in 1990.
