In his universe, the figures are indistinguishable from the background. The rhythms draw a constantly changing horizon into the void, where they vibrate and disappear in an almost incantatory way. Fields is poetry made into music; verses made into sounds. Pianist Marc Méan, double bassist Patrice Moret and drummer Paul Amereller play with the meters in a relaxed and instinctive way. Little poems in prose, little moments of improvisation - the album "Mist" gives an insight into the ability of these extraordinary artists, who constantly produce new and exciting images with a handful of forms.
