Zhang Jing, Zhou Xia, Antonio Fusco - Depends on What You Hear (2021)

The name of Zhang Jing's new album is "Depends on what you hear", and the Chinese translation is "Hearing Imagination". We all have an imagination about hearing, and it is very personal, just like the literal translation of the English name of this album: based on what you hear. Even if you hear the same melody in the same space, everyone will have their own in their minds. In life, we all have realities that we cannot control, but music is free, and our imagination is loyal to this freedom.

This original jazz album was recorded on March 20, 2019. The trio "Krystal Organic Trio" (Krystal Organic Trio) composed of Zhang Jing, organist Zhou Xia and drummer Antonio Fusco was recorded in the MaxTeam recording studio. Mr. Liu Yuan, the leader of Chinese jazz music and the director of Cui Jian's band, was invited to participate in the arrangement and production.
