Country singer and proud Texan Chad Austin grew up in a musical family. His father and uncles spent plenty of nights performing at one local club or another. Austin learned to play the guitar and the piano at a young age, and then joined his father on-stage where they offered their audiences tunes that were traditional country in the style of artists like Marty Robbins and Merle Haggard. Austin never moved away from those early influences, and it shows in his music. In 1999 he recorded his first album; the title, All My Dreams, seemed more than appropriate for the debut. For the new millennium, Austin recorded a self-titled album that is sure to please his fans, with more of what they enjoyed from the debut. This impressive sophomore offering is all country. Some of the standout tunes from Chad Austin are "That's a Woman," "It's Tomorrow in Atlanta," and "Both Sides of Goodbye."
