Tom Cheshire Band came to life in 2021 when Cheshire and his longtime friend Mike Shina started jamming during the pandemic. With Cheshire on vocals, keys, and percussion, and Shina on guitar and drum machine, they laid the foundation for TCB. They were joined by upright bassist Stiff Penalty (Steve McPeeks), sax player Ben Davis, and guitarist B. Kinch (Brian Kincheloe).
Cheshire’s journey from a wild child on the streets of 1980s New York to the seasoned artist he is today is a testament to his resilience and creative spirit. His deep connection to Atlanta, where he found a community of like-minded individuals, played a pivotal role in shaping his career.
