Following their fourth album, Birth(s) s), 2016, which took them back to the duo’s fundamental and radical alchemy, Steve Perreux (guitar, vocals) and Dimitri Chaillou (drums, vocals) are still questioning their own musical and geographical frontiers, between frontal post rock, frenzied noise, polyphonic vocals and instrumental diversion. With this long awaited fifth album, V (to be released in February 2024) with it six songs , each with a title alluding to a city visited on their previous tours, the ROBOT ORCHESTRA invent for themselves new and definitely European feel of wandering vacations
From the Czech Republic to Spain, from Slovenia to Latvia, crossing Poland, you listen to the ir music as you would consult travel writing, standing quietly by its maturity and its long matur ation . Between furious rhythms, electric frenzies, long instrumental parts, atmospheric diversions and vocal lines swaying from pop melodies to cathartic cries, each song seems to define its own field for research, sound inventions and melodic richness. With its kinetic use of strings(violin, cello) as electronic insertions, this layered daydream grinds together the coherence of Radiohead and Fugazi, prog, kraut and math rock, rage and relief, restlessness and peace, complexity and simplicity.

Steve Perreux : Guitar / Vocals
Dimitri Chaillou : Drums / Prog & Arrangements / Keyboard / Vocals
Johan Gardré : Tenor violin / Violin
