Aventino Music presents “Cosa remains of dust”, a new studio work by Francesco Bianco, former voice, guitar and electronics of Granato.

“Cosa remainder of the dust” is a retrospective collection of nine songs created by the composer between 2010 and 2015.

Some of these pieces are studies that constitute the author's first approach to the compositional methods of electronic music, to its refined instruments and to the countless possibilities offered by technology; others are very free experiments, in which the composer searches for a form and language that has never been completely delineated; it is an embryonic and personal classification of electronic music instruments, a way to limit their possibilities in such a way as to be able to make conscious and conscious use of them.

The studies delve into some of the most commonly used synthesis techniques, such as additive (“What remains of the dust”), subtractive (“Glasses”), waveshaping (“Carpets and clouds”), FM (“Abstract#1”) and, at the same time, they proceed towards a search for compositional methods suitable for electronic languages.

“Me in electro” constitutes the composer's first step towards the world of more experimental music. “Even sound has wrinkles” represents his first study in the field of computer music, while the three songs “Incompiuto per un’opera” (made together with Remo De Vico), “In cosa crede?” and “Diptych of a possibility” are part of a different working method, linked to improvisation, editing and manipulation of concrete and synthetic sounds, the mixture of sound sources of different characteristics.

Produced and published by Aventino Music, “Cosa remainder of the dust” was recorded in Francesco Bianco's private studio; mastering and graphics by Claudio Scozzafava.
