Valley of Doves - The Long Arm of Light (2024)

The Long Arm of Light, the debut album from Valley of Doves, is centered on mortality. While the album was not originally intended to be a concept album of sorts, the songs that comprise the record are reflections of fathers watching their children grow, causing them to reflect on life’s frail nature and brevity. The death of loved ones, the dissolution of relationships, watching friends give way to addiction, and the realization that all good things come to an end are explored across the album’s eight tracks.
