'Short Trips From Home' was the only album I released under my Apocomeno ('a little less') moniker. I had an obsession with percussion and my lovely guitalele in 2007 - 2008 as I scoured shops in Ochanamizu (Tokyo) for random bits. It was an album of just really fun live looping works I made in my apartment wildly whacking toys, a kid's drum kit, percussion, and random objects, alongside looping my guitalele, Casio keyboard, and glockenspiel.

It was originally released around 2008 on the Italian cassette label Best Kept Secret in a very limited edition alongside a trilogy of my releases as Oh No Nuno! and Koen Park. This is the first time, beyond a handful of friends with kids who are now all grown up, to share this album.

Huge love and thanks to Hitoshi Ishihara for his deeply kind support with his wonderful photography which suits the music so well.
