DC’s own Aaron Tinjum and the Tangents proudly present their new full-length folk rock album: “Foreign & Domestic.” Originally formed in Austin, Texas in 2011, Tinjum’s folk project was honored by the Live Music Capital of the World’s mayor and city council with their own official band holiday: “Aaron Tinjum and the Tangents Day” on October 11, 2012. In 2013, the band left Austin for our nation’s capital in a move that Hometown Sounds described as “swimming against the tide of those talented musicians who make their mark on DC and move away.” Since relocating to DC, they’ve opened for the likes of neo-folk troubadour Sam Amidon and acclaimed looper Kawehi.
