Garage Punk band from Glasgow, Scotland founded in ’83. Their slide guitar blues punk styleremind much on The GUN CLUB but with Scottish kink. Band who were and remain criminally ignored in the UK. The Glaswegian-based outfit had more in common with 'Americana' and much of their material was influenced by music like The Byrds and Big Star, though unlike Teenage Fanclub they tried to forge their own identity. Back then in primeval times they were mysteriously lumped in with all those dreadful psychobilly bands like Guana Batz. They were, however, popular in France which may explain why most of their recorded output originally appeared on New Rose Records who were based there.

This collection gathers their best stuff from 80’s as well as some unreleased tunes (September, 1984 - February 27, 2000). However, they were no one-trick ponies as this wonderful 41-track CD release testifies to their brilliance from their early release 'Where Were You' and 'Saint Jack' through to darker stuff such as 'Down Where The Madness Grows' and 'Heya'. If nothing on here shakes your booty you have no soul. It’s a Primeval call, Dig!
