Shuichi "Ponta" Murakami was a Japanese session drummer notable for his work with Kenji Omura, Jun Fukamachi and others. A planned album commemorating the 30th anniversary of Japan's proud drummer, Shuichi Murakami Ponta's debut in 2003. A record in which 10 vocalists, including Kiroro, Noriyuki Makihara, The Gospellers, Yuzu, and others, sang songs that Ponta was involved in as a drummer, and had a session. Fantastic album
