This recording has been cleaned up and mastered by Wayne which shows the raw intensity of the build up to that very first show.
Here is what Wayne says: "In mid-January 1986, just a few days before we went out as The Sisterhood to play our first ever gig at Alice in Wonderland in London on Monday 20th, we found ourselves in Slaughterhouse Studios in Driffield, East Yorkshire. We had already recorded what would become the Serpents Kiss EP and were to later record the Garden of Delight / Like A Hurricane Double A side single at the Slaughterhouse but on this particular day we’d booked in just for an afternoon to record our ‘Last Rehearsal’ before we went public. Setting up our equipment as if we were in a rehearsal room and with engineer Colin Richardson pressing the record button, we bashed through all the songs we’d been honing for the last few weeks. These recordings are us playing together live in the studio - no overdubs or fixes - before we had ever played these songs to an audience. There have been bootlegs of dubious quality of this rehearsal floating around for years but Wayne recently found the original recordings on a cassette tape and with a little modern technology wizardry cleaned them up and mastered them. As these recordings testify, we were ready to take on the world."
