The Texas Footstompers are playing a blend of Texas country and Americana music with a touch of rock and bluegrass added every now and again. The founding members of the band are Lynn Cooper, hailing from the High Plains region town of Borger, TX, and Frank Laux and Felix Guerrero both hailing from Fort Worth, TX, all native-born Texans and all contributing songwriters. The Footstompers developed a love for music and playing guitars together in their teenage years in the Fort Worth-Dallas area. They began writing songs together and their musical dream to perform their songs before venues larger than campfires in Colorado came to fruition in the early 70s music scene at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.
