Katy sees music as a way to touch the heart and soul of a person and spends much of her free time singing and entertaining at nursing homes, assisted living centers and special needs facilities across the great state of Louisiana. She volunteers regularly at the local chapter of the ARC and with Louisiana Kids, Inc. You'll typically find Katy dressed in rhinestones and curls, ready to perform or represent. But when she's not, she's barefoot and muddy, a bayou girl who enjoys fishing and hunting and riding her horse or four-wheeler through the woods and cane fields that she calls home.
