I started playing guitar and singing as a little boy because of Elvis Presley...and then the Beatles. I toured with bands as a young man and then started up again when my children got a little older. This is my third full length album and as I've learned the recording side of things they've gotten better , sonic-ally speaking, each time. Of course now this is my favorite. My son plays drums on everything with drums except Trixy...that's me. All the instruments other than that are me....track over track. It's fun working this way, no pressure but it's pretty slow, hence the time between albums...and I have a business to run as well. Hopefully next time we'll get more of our musician friends to come down here and record in our basement. Some of my other influences include Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Bonnie Raitt, Joe Walsh...and really a host of guitar players. For me it's really all about the song. I try to write songs that people can relate to in their own way. Of course I have something in mind when I'm writing but people tend to relate to songs on a personal level and I really like the thought of that. Hope you buy and enjoy!
