A little indie folk sweetness to end the year, what do you think? Well here comes Aure, a young unknown in the battalion (and an architect by profession) who will be enough to make the cottages cry with her extraordinary artistic sensitivity. Having recently opened for Andy Shauf's European tour, she presents her first EP entitled A Few Notes.
It will only take six tracks composed between France and Mexico for Aure to be able to captivate us as it should with her lo-fi folk but oh so refined and rich in emotions. Opening with a most haunting “The Line”, she lays the foundations with her skillful fingerpicking and her most vulnerable songwriting which has its effect on the magnificent “Suddenly” and “Five Hours”. A Few Notes continues to draw its inspiration from Jessica Pratt or Sybille Baier on “Where The Real Things Go” but also from Lonny on the most poetic “Dans la plaine”. A sublime introduction for our Aure which intends to intoxicate us for the future.
